Tannin 50g
Tannin powder is extracted from gall nuts, which contain 50-60% tannin. The dye gives a light beige colour. Tannin can be used both as a mordant and a dye.  It will give a buff background for overdyeing. 
Try 50g Tannin with 600g fibre as a starting point.
