Ground Madder Root 100g
These first quality ground roots make dyeing with this ancient dye easy - just soak and proceed to dyeing. It is grown in the traditional madder producing regions of the world and yields a deep yellow based red. Simmer at low temperatures to develop the deep rich colour. A small amount of citric acid or chalk allows you to get the richest shades.
Use 100% root to fibre ratio and exhaust dyebaths to obtain multiple colours.
