A mordant for cellulose fibres, including linen, cotton, bamboo and hemp, but can also be used as alternative mordant for wool and silk. Cellulose fibres need to be scoured to prepare the fibre for dyeing. Use at 5% weight of fibre.
Aluminium Acetate is non-toxic but but is can be irritating to the nose so a dust mask is recommended.
100g will mordant 2kg fibre.
